Horseshoe Crab Bio-Diesel Bus Trips

Join SuperFun Eco Tours as we track down the elusive and prehistoric Horseshoe Crab. The Delaware Bay and its beaches are home to one of the greatest displays of animal courtship in the world. Each year millions of horseshoe crabs descend on the beaches of Delaware Bay to mate and lay eggs beneath the sand. As we tour the beaches of the Delaware Bay you will learn the natural history of the Horseshoe Crab and the important role it plays in our society. More info TBA.

Delmarva Birding Weekend Events

Salt Marsh Sunset – Assateague Island National Seashore
Date: Thursday, April 22
Time: 5-8pm
Location: Meet at the Barrier Island Visitor Center parking lot
Cost: $25 per person (Including Entrance Fee)
Join SuperFun Eco Tours for a leisurely kayak paddle through Assateague Island’s pristine salt marsh to discover egrets, herons, willets and many other marsh birds. Enjoy the Sunset on the water. All equipment will be provided, no experience necessary.

The Early Bird Paddle– Assateague Island National Seashore
Date: Friday, April 23
Time: 7-10am
Location: Meet at the Barrier Island Visitor Center parking lot
Cost: $25 per person (Including Entrance Fee)
Join SuperFun Eco Tours for an early kayak paddle through Assateague Island’s pristine salt marsh to discover egrets, herons, willets and many other marsh birds. The early morning is a great time to view some of Assateague’s awesome birds. All equipment will be provided, no experience necessary.

Paddling Prime Hook - Prime Hook State Wildlife Management Area

Date: Saturday - April 24

Time: 1:30-4 p.m.
Location: Prime Hook State Boat Ramp near Milton, DE
Cost: $25 per person
Join SuperFun Eco Tours to paddle the Delaware Bay shoreline between salt marsh and bay beach looking for wading birds, shorebirds, rails, and colorful songbirds.There are no bathrooms or other facilities here. Please bring bug spray and plenty of water. We will be using the State of Delaware access to Prime Hook, NOT the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge boat ramp.
