The Discovery Tour focuses on the Natural and Cultural History of Assateague Island. You will get to see some of Assateague's most amazing animals close up. Chances for viewing wildlife on this tour are excellent. We use Seine and Dip nets to momentarily capture specimens and talk about how they fit into the ecosystem. Assateague Island is home to wild horses, sika deer, diamondback terrapins, diverse marine life and over 400 species of birds!
